 Purpose
The equipment for digital converting of direction
finders information (ACP-RP) TALM.411613.000 is intended
for automation of the analog ARP-75 and ARP-80 direction
finders widely used by ATC services of Russia and other
CIS countries as the information sources on aircraft
location for automated DF complexes integration into ATC
modern automated systems and automation facilities.
Main functions
- reception of analog information from one or
several ADF via 1 - 16 DF channels;
- analog-digital DF information conversion;
- DF information processing for forming of bearing
values with "bearing start" and "bearing end" marks
and also intermediate bearing values;
- inclusion of ADF operability information into
bearing patterns being formed;
- check messages forming;
- bearing value displaying via the chosen channel;
- transmission of digital DF information to the
ATC controller center automation facilities complex
or to the radar complex APOI equipment via tone
frequency channel, digital channel, physical line,
or directly.

ACP-RP can be adapted to operation conditions and the
Customer requirements in following specifications:
- DF type and the input signals parameters;
- type of connection to DF equipment (to trailer
equipment to ADF control center equipment);
- interval of intermediate bearing values
transmission;
- output patterns format;
- communication channel type;
- transmission method;
- data rate;
- bearing blanking to the radio center at the time
of ATC controller transmission.
