The following devices are used in ACROBAT-1 ACAS:
directional upper and omnidirectional lower antenna
systems of A/C/S modes and omnidirectional antennas of
ATC mode, transmitter with digital power level
adjustment and sidelobe suppression on interrogation,
3-channel monopulse receivers with detection of the
reply pulses garbling and sidelobe suppression on reply,
programmable logic devices for the signals hardware
processing realization, high-performance single-board
microcomputer for the algorithms of detection and
collision threat elimination problems realization, for
standard interface with external equipment for visual
and audio maintenance of ACAS operation and for
providing the information exchange with other airborne
systems. |
