2. Technical
characteristics
APOI VNIIRA-OVD carries out the following functions:
2.1. Plot extracting of PSR information (radar targets
detection and their coordinates determination).
2.2. Decoding of SSR information and separate plot
extracting of UVD and RBS channels information (radar
targets detection and their coordinates determination).
2.3. Suppressing of false coordinate signals in C-mode
for UVD channel (being formed due to expansion of height
response pulses).
2.4. Suppression of SSR reradiated signals.
2.5. Suppression of signals in the sector cluttered by
TV signal being received by UVD channel receiver.
2.6. Automatic quantization thresholds setting for PSR
and SSR (UVD and RBS) channels.
2.7. SPI signal processing.
2.8. Combination of SSR coordinate and flight
information.
2.9. In case of synchronous PSR and SSR operation target
coordinates of PSR are combined with SSR target
coordinates and flight information into one message.
2.10. In case of asynchronous PSR and SSR operation
multiplexing of information for transfer via common
communication channel.
2.11. Multiplexing of DF information on Customer
requirement.
2.12. Transmission of output digital information via
communication channels to several users in compliance
with code pattern protocols having been agreed with each
user.
2.13. The transmission either astronomical time or
"Priority North" and time of target location relative to
"North" can be realized on Customer requirements.
2.14. Output information is represented by target
"plots" (measured coordinates).
2.15. Combined bright displaying of input analog radar
and output digital information on computer monitor (PPI,
zoom).
2.16. Recording and playback of information being
transmitted into data communication equipment are
provided.
2.17. Hardware and software adaptation to radar site and
type of radar complex is provided.
2.18. The processing of Radar State Identification
Signals can be realized on the Customer requirement.
2.19. Processing of the signals of several radars of
various types at one radar site can be realized on
Customer requirements.
