Purpose
The asynchronous conversion unit (BAP) TALM.465651.014
is intended for converting the continuous bits sequences
of synchronous data flows received via two input
channels in asynchronous data bytes sequence for
transmission to data processing equipment via two output
interfaces.
Main functions
- reception of synchronous data flows from two
discrete channels;
- conversion of the received data flows into two
asynchronous bytes sequences;
- transmission of the converted data to data
processing equipment via two interface.
Main application
BAP is used for realization of various sources
interfacing with the computer via serial com-ports; the
data transmission from the above mentioned sources is
realized by using channel level synchronous protocols,
for example, for interfacing the radar complexes using
synchronous protocols for data transmission from APOI
with ATC automated systems or automation facilities data
processing equipment.
