SCALED-DOWN TRAINING-SIMULATING COMPLEX MODERN EFFECTIVE SOLUTION FOR A-50 AWACS BATTLE CREW TRAINING.

Purpose

STSC is intended for on-ground training of A-50 battle crew with the objective of achieving qualified control of various air forces crews in the air during missions.

Functions performed

STSC provides simulation and improving operation procedures by A-50 Awacs combat control officers at:

• Long-range radar detection of air and sea targets at high and low altitudes, in stratosphere and also at extremely low heights above any relief;
• Defining targets nationality;
• Transmitting data on targets movement trajectory to automated control systems;
• Navy and Air Forces aircraft aiming;
• Fighters aiming at air targets from "Ground alert" position;
• Fighters aiming at air targets from "Air alert" position;
• Fighters guidance to the alert areas in the air and their control in these areas;
• Fighters guidance to the positions for other forces aircraft escorting;
• Aircraft guidance to the landing aerodrome area;
• Aircraft guidance according to selected routes;
• On-ground targeting manoeuvres;
• Receiving of the information on air targets from distant radars;
• Combat mission to control interceptors reception from coastal forces control center;
• Interceptors control hand off and hand over to interacting control centers and targeting points;
• Noise jammer position fixing.
