Structure and Components
MARKA
Simulator is of a modular design on the base of personal
computers combined into LAN, allowing to simulate the
whole range of complicated conditions in air situation
dynamics.
Simulator consists of the following units:
- 2 working positions (WP) of students (RMO) -
landing area supervisors (RZP), near area (RBZ), far
area (RDZ), combat control officers in any
combination;
- 1 WP of trained flight supervisor (RM RP) –
aircraft control in terminal area, runways and taxi
ways;
- 3 pseudo-pilots' WPs (RM-PO), providing
simulation of flight supervisor group personnel and
combat control officers interaction with aircrews,
and also input of simulated aircraft control
commands, input of commands, changing terminal area
ground and air situation and ghost operation for
joint control areas and services.
Trainee WP and Pseudo-pilot WP are universal for all
flight control responsibility areas They are equipped
with radio communication and service communication
facilities.
RÌ RP is additionally equipped with APSV
visualization system, providing generation of 3-d live
model of terminal area situation taking into account an
observer position.
