COMPONENTS

REPITER-2M components:

• Automated working positions for pilots (crews) (ARM-L) - 2;
• Training command point of air regiment (standard);
• Automated working position for supervisor training (ARM-K).
  
  ARM-L is an aircraft simulator with a system for off-cockpit situation visualization with viewing area ±100º in wings plane and +85º ÷ -20º in aircraft symmetry plane.
  
  ARM-L provides flight crews and Flight Supervisor Group (of combat point detachment) joint training in air, ground and sea targets destruction on a tactical background, corresponding to flights area (forthcoming combat operations).

ARM-L provides:

• Displaying off-cockpit air and ground situation with ground-based targets at designed terrain relief;
• Flight in open and closed combat formations, reformation and information exchange between leader and wingman;
• Displaying targets and friend aircraft information transmitted to ARM-L from ground-based radars using Ground-based Control System or flying guidance point (AWACS);
• Dynamics of SU-27 aircraft type;
• Displaying friend and foe aircraft;
• Attacks, air and ground-based targets destruction by wingman;
• Fire, trajectory and ECM;
• Weather situation simulation.
   

Supervisor Group WP's components:

Flight supervisor WP, landing area officer WP, far area WP, combat control officer WP, near area WP.

Hardware-software facilities of REPITER-2M provide simulation of operative-tactical air and ground situation on all WPs, off-cockpit space visualization on flight simulators, recording, playback and real time automated estimation of trainees' operation.

Flight supervisor WP is equipped with visualization system (APSV) of responsible area, controlled by flight supervisor (taxiing, take-off and landing).
APSV provides forming live 3-d model of terminal area, taking into account an observer position.

APSV provides simulation and visualization of:

• Runways, taxiways, aprons, buildings, lighting equipment; terrain relief and landscape;
  Mobile objects: aircraft, tracks, refuellers;
  Day time changing, fog and its intensity, birds flight along desired trajectory, decelerating parachutes release and avia decelerating equipment.

• Flight supervisor WP includes communication facilities and aircraft flight and control monitoring facilities similar to those of standard WP.
  
• Far area and combat control officer WPs are equipped with facilities similar to standard combat point, providing radar and navigation information control.
  
• ARM-K is intended for monitoring and estimating all trainees' operations. The WP is equipped with communication facilities, providing an instructor communication with all trainees, and displaying facilities, allowing to monitor operation of any trainee on his WP (cockpit).
