Performed functions

REPITER-M performs the following functions:

• Development of skills of operation with main types of radars information displaying facilities, controls installed on typical equipment of trainees working positions (WP);
• Improving the flight supervisor skills in set responsibility areas using communication facilities and aerodrome radio support in compliance with flights NOTAM;
• Training students to detect current and potential conflicts and provide flights safety and make correct decisions in due time;
• Carrying out two-way combat control personnel training (tactical games) under enemy ECM;
• Improving the skills of interaction between Supervisor group officials and Combat point control personnel;
• Improving the trainees operations in case of communication aids and flights radio support failures and also the effect of factors limiting equipment efficiency;
• Improving Supervisor group operation skills and Combat control officers in special flight cases;
• Improving eye targeting skills using "ground-air" communication channels and taking into account the airborne radar sights parameters;
• Improving aircraft control skills at on-ground targeting;
• Improving execution of tactical missions on overcoming enemy air defense lines with any types of missile complexes;
• Training in aiming at any air targets under jamming, interference and clutters caused by cumulonimbus clouds;
• Measuring and recording trainee operation parameters for subsequent estimation;
• Providing radar and voice information synchronous recording during the whole exercise with the capability of subsequent playback.
