Simulated air space
Airspace of 400 km in radius and up to 30000 in
height is simulated in TSC with simulation air situation
in real time simultaneously in the visibility areas of
two surveillance radars, one controller radar with
primary and secondary channels and one landing radar and
one RSBN for every Combat point.
The structure of simulated airspace includes:
- Base aerodrome area with one runway and two
take- off and landing directions;
- Fire, IFR flights areas, on acceleration, on
ceiling, training ranges, civil aviation routes and
corridors;
- Landing area, near area, far area.
Simulated aircraft
The information is provided concerning simultaneous
movement of approximately 128 controlled mathematical
models of various types of aircraft, including foreign
ones both in and off radar coverage areas. Movement of
simulated aircraft taking into account height layers and
admissible speed range is realized in accordance with
their performance characteristics. One pseudo pilot may
control up to 16 aircraft simultaneously.
TSC envisages the capabilities of combat formation
flight, including large formations, two-aircraft
formation and single flights. At separate take-off a
group formation can be realized both beyond and under
clouds. In case of group take-off a cloud base is broken
out by aircraft separately with following formation
beyond the clouds. In case of formation flight radio
communication and commands transmission is executed only
through the leader. After the formation disbandment
radio communication is kept up with every aircraft. In
exercises envisaging combat usage, the defensive
manoeuvres (900 turn away, 1800 S-turn, antidoppler),
including vertical manoeuvres (steep climb, diving,
half-roll, oblique loop, pivoting) can be performed.
Ground tactical situation
simulation
Ground tactical situation simulation includes:
- Radar field space configuration for improving
abilities of air defense lines overcoming;
- Simulation and installation of
anti-aircraft-missile complexes;
- "ground-air" and "air-ground" missiles tracking;
- Anti-aircraft-missile complex simulation with
the signs of Combat point identification;
- Training ranges simulation for aiming at ground
and sea targets.
Airspace tactical situation
simulation
Airspace tactical situation simulation is provided by
software for every Combat point. Airspace tactical
situation is displayed individually by standard displays
of Supervisor group and combat control officer WP with
scan rate of simulated radars, by chief instructor and
landing instructor displays.
The TSC provides simulation of:
- Interference, jamming, thermal effects;
- Noise jammer aircraft;
- Combat, trajectory, ECM, homing heads;
- Airborne sights (radar, thermal, optical);
- Airborne weapons of mass destruction;
- Attack and targets destruction;
- Simulation and information transmission from
mobile altimeters.
