Technical Parameters
SINTEZ CWPs are based on industrial
IBM-compatible PC with OS-9 UNIX-like real-time
operating system and X-windows graphics in compliance
with EUROCONTROL recommendations and provide:
- presentation of information on 21" and 23" LCD
monitors of 1600x1200 resolution;
- human machine interface is realized in
accordance with EUROCONTROL recommendations;
- reliable operation and capability of full system
reset within 40 sec (shutdown not needed);
- operation time in case of external power down -
up to 30 min;
- MTBF - not less, than 6000 hours (without
back-up).
Supplementary Modifications
1. Building the raw radar signal adapter into CWP (on
the Customer demand) provides presentation of analog
radar information ("raw" video).
2. Modified CWPs, supplemented by the SSR (RBS and UVD)
and PSR plot extractors, provide operation with radars
on analog signals without standard extractor (e.g. both
with improved DRLS-7SM and not-improved one, also with
1RL-139, 1L-118, etc.), that allows to minimize the
expenses for implementation of automated ATC facilities.
3. Interconnecting of terminal and area ATC SINTEZ ARM
CWPs using LAN provides input and combination of radar
information derived from a number of Radars required by
the Customer.
SINTEZ ARM-A and SINTEZ ARM-R - CWPs - have
passed the certification tests, have the IAC certificate
and are recommended to be implemented at State Avia
Enterprises and Civil Aviation Organizations by the
order of Russian Federal Service of Air Transport .
