Main system solutions of the SINTEZ-T simulator complex.
- Compliance with the ICAO and EUROCONTROL
standards and recommendations;
- System software providing open architecture and
system expandability:
- OS UNIX;
-
LAN ETHERNET TCP/IP, SNMP protocols;
- X-Windows X11-R6 and MOTIF graphic software
package;
- LINTER standard data base and SQL language;
- ODS Toolbox;
- HMI compliance with the last EUROCONTROL
recommendations: with EATCHIP PHASE III HMI
CATALOGUE;
- Standard advanced computing facilities (COTS):
- SUN Microsystems work stations and servers for
ARM-D;
- Industrial IBM-compatible PC for ARM-PO
The SINTEZ-T system simulators in various design
versions have been supplied to some C.I.S countries and
are successfully implemented into
systems of ATC controllers practical training.
System Simulator Specifications
The system simulator provides training of ATC
controllers of ACCs and terminal areas and is adaptable
to respective areas and sectors (ACC, APP, Circle, TWR/Taxiing).
SINTEZ-T provides:
-
Simulation
of 2000x2000 km airspace (25 km height);
- Simulation of arbitrary number of controlled and
uncontrolled aircraft movement (in accordance with
the number of UTMs purchased by the Customer);
- Processing up to 200 flight plans in one
training exercise which can continue up to 120
minutes;
- Simulation of airspace situation in real or
accelerated time both in the coverage area of
simulated radar facilities taking into account the
relief and off the coverage area;
- Simulation of current flight data for its
following transmission to a trained controller by a
pseudo-pilot;
- Simulation of radar information taking into
account coverage areas and radiation patterns of
simulated radars, SSR special signals, Squawk IDENT
signal, radar complex turn-off function, selective
turning-off aircraft marks for en-route and terminal
PSR and SSR;
- Simulation and output of the ARP-75 information
for bearing displaying on the combined
air situation display (ASD) of a trained controller;
- Simulation of weather data, including dangerous
weather phenomena and real weather at
runway level;
- Simulation of loudspeaker and radio
communication with capability of individual headsets
connection;
- Automated evaluation of trainees operation
parameters executed by the "Observer" program;
- Recording and subsequent synchronous playback of
radar and voice information;
- Recording and suspending a current training
exercise with data saving and subsequent
exercise resume;
- Function of ghost-operation for interacting ATC
areas concerning the aircraft control
reception/hand off in case of inbound/outbound from
the responsibility area.
