Purpose
The
SINTEZ-TC complex system simulator is intended for ATC
controllers training and retraining, starting with the
initial training of students at educational institutions
and up to keeping a high level of avia enterprises ATC
controllers' practical skills while using the Unified
Series of SINTEZ automated ATC systems. The complex
system simulator, deployed and put into operation in
Kazaeronavigatsya RGP, provides training of areas and
terminal areas ATC controllers. It can be adapted for
respective areas and sectors (ACC, APP, Circle, TWR/Taxiing)
Complex System Simulator Components
The SINTEZ-TC complex system simulator is assembled
using a number of universal training modules (UTM)
defined by the Customer. All UTMs are realized on the
distributed architecture of computing facilities
combined into complex by LAN. Each UTM simulates a
movement of 16 controlled and 32 uncontrolled aircraft
in accordance with their aerodynamics.
Each UTM includes:
- SINTEZ-ARM-D trained controller automated
working position (ARM-D);
- Pseudo-pilot /instructor automated working
position (ARM-PO).
ARM-D can be delivered within the system simulator in
various design versions: beginning with the system
performing SINTEZ-P/A ATC ARM functions - up to the
systems with the highest automation level such as
SINTEZ-AR2 area-terminal automated ATC system and
SINTEZ-R2 area automated system (dual working positions
of radar and planning controllers), which are in
compliance with EUROCONTROL recommendations.
ARM-PO include: simulating, processing and air situation
information displaying facilities, radio and loudspeaker
communication facilities.
The structure of complex system simulator, deployed in
Kazaeronavigatsya RGP, provides a simultaneous training
of 10 radar controllers, 6 planning controllers of
different responsibility areas and TWR controller.
System Simulator Structure
The complex system simulator is of a modular design
realizing an open information systems structure that
provides:
- Universal design of every functional module
(ACC, APP, Circle, Landing/Take-off, Taxiing);
- Complex expandability up to any number of
functional modules according to the Customer
requirements;
- Functional modules configuration invariance
(starting with all typical ones and up to any
combination of required number of modules).
The SINTEZ-TC system simulator can be realized both
as an autonomous training-simulating complex and as an
integrated into ATC automated system simulator providing
complete training of ATC controllers.
